Our School

Hillside exists to support homeschool families through Christ-centered community and thoughtfully curated enrichment classes that inspire a love for learning through Bible, history, geography, science, writing, art, and the beauty of a classical education.

At Hillside Homeschool, we serve students in grades K–8 through Christ-centered enrichment classes that meet twice weekly in Kingsport, Tennessee. Rooted in a biblical worldview, our classical and project-based approach to learning encourages students to explore, create, and engage deeply with the world around them.

We believe children learn best through meaningful experiences. Our teacher-led classes are designed to be engaging, hands-on, and memorable — cultivating curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Through studies in Bible, history, geography, science, writing, art, and enrichment subjects, students are invited into an immersive educational experience grounded in truth, goodness, and beauty.

At Hillside, we also believe homeschool students should never miss out on the joy and community of the school experience. In addition to our classes, families enjoy cherished traditions including first-day-of-school photos, school parties, dances, field trips, yearbook signing day, graduation celebrations, and an end-of-year showcase featuring all students have learned throughout the year.
