Art Curriculum

Our talented teacher will be curating her own lessons inspired by the basics of foundational art. Throughout the year, students experiment with a variety of mediums such as drawing, painting, collage, and more! Lessons are designed to develop creativity, and observation skills while encouraging each child to discover their own artistic style.

In addition to skill-building projects, students will participate in basic artist studies where they learn about famous artists from different time periods and cultures. They will explore how these artists used materials and techniques, and then create their own artwork inspired by what they’ve learned.

By the end of the course, students will have a growing portfolio of artwork and a strong foundation in basic art principles, along with a deeper appreciation for creativity and the world of art.
