Exploring Spain

In our Exploring Spain class we will dive deeper into the culture of what makes Spain unique.

We will spend our time learning about the importance of “Toro” in Spain, discussing the role of the matador, sampling traditional Spanish churros and recreating our own La Tomatina.

Our students will also listen to the wonderful read-aloud, The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf.

We can’t wait to see you on our first day of class for the 2024-2025 school year!

Students will begin their European journey by packing their trunks and stamping those passports. They will experience a sampling of European snacks and complete some simple mapwork.

End of Year Ceremony and Graduation

We are thrilled to be hosting and celebrating our students and their families at the Grace Point Fellowship worship center, Friday, May 17th at 6:00 PM. Everyone’s invited, parents, grandparents, and friends!

All students will be participating in a brief program showcasing their hymns and memory work for the year. Families will get to experience “A Day in the Life at Hillside”.

All our Kindergarten students will be participating in a Kindergarten graduation and receive a diploma.

Following the ceremony, we will have “gallery walk” where students can showcase their work throughout the year. It will be a sweet time for all our families!
